Simulation To Be Conducted After Island Wide Blackout
President and CEO of Jamaica Public Service Kelly Tomblin is today asking for Jamaicans to be understanding as her company conducts investigation into the islandwide black out on Saturday.
Ms Tomblin who was speaking to Talk Jamaica Radio yesterday says they were conducting tests to improve the grid, she said there were safety precaution that are normally in place when this is done but the power trip when the system was put back into full operation.

She says an interim report will be sent to the Minister on Monday but a detail simulation will be done on Saturday to get a better understanding of why this happened.
She admitted that the company made a mistake and apologized to the Jamaican population for the blackout.
