Trending Now: Spring is here, what’s in?!
Greetings Fashionistas! As spring season rolls around and the weather starts to change, so does the pieces we choose to wear in our wardrobe. The heavier articles of clothing such as jackets, coats and sweater gets buried and light jackets, dresses, and lighter options start making its way to the forefront as we prepare for Summer. This week’s blog will cover spring trends to keep you up to speed with what you need to stay a true fashionista.
Women Spring Trends
- Denim Craze: Blue denim is on the horizon again! This is one of the biggest trends on the spring runways, from contemporary to women designers. Denim came with a modern twist in pants that ranged from super wide leg to cropped, a hint of Boho in tunic tops, dresses and amazing suits to jumpsuits. This is a trend has been around for a number of seasons and seems to be here to stay.
- All Sorts of Leather: Just when you thought you would have to retire all your leather pieces from spring, there’s been a change in plans. Leather came in many colors, great separates and it wasn’t only limited to outerwear. On the runway it was seen in laser cut pieces, in beautifully stitched panels, rich metallics, and bold reds had a big presence. Have some fun and opt to use your leather pieces as great in between season staples. It is also one of my favorite fabrications because it is long lasting and when kept and treated with care it can last a life time.
- Trapeze Dresses: Talk about effortlessly chic right? These beautiful dresses have very flattering silhouettes and they made quite the statement throughout the spring runway shows. The trapeze dress puts the ease in effortless. They are designed in a variety of lengths, knee, shift and tea lengths. This is perfect for the upcoming summer season as well; it’s cute, fun and flirtatious.
- Caftan & Tunics: Keep calm and let’s carry on with graceful caftans and tunics in the most soothing shades of neutrals and whites. One of the more relaxed and comfortable spring trends but still polished. Some tunics can be paired with bottoms depending on the length and can be worn as a top. As for footwear, pair these with sandals, heels or even sneakers. Choice is yours.
